Drawing on insights from Islamic psychology, this talk explores how many of the challenges to our wellbeing today stem from a growing disconnection from fiṭrah — the natural, divinely patterned state of both the human being and the created world. It invites us to uncover the often- forgotten science of the soul by exploring its nature and inner dynamics, and to recognize how reconnecting with the rhythms, order, and balance of the natural environment is not separate from inner healing, but directly shapes and restores the state of the soul itself. By returning to nature, we begin to return to our own nature — rediscovering a path toward wholeness that brings our inner lives back into harmony with the world around us.
